 | | Tissue Microarray |
| The TMA module provides an extensive set of functions integrated within AxioVision. This extends the functionality of AxioVision to include the acquisition and analysis of tissue microarrays. TMA provides control over the motorized microscope, motorized scanning stage and digital camera to bring high content screening technology to tissue microarray applications such as drug discovery, gene expression and therapeutic antibodies. |

| Increased Throughput:
The TMA module enables the acquisition of an overview "map" of the tissue microarray. Tissue cores are automatically detected and identified with a grid position and a co-ordinate list is created. |
 | | High magnification Core |
| Using the detected core positions, TMA acquires high resolution images of immuno-histochemically stained or fluorescence labelled core samples (e.g. FISH) and can acquire images with multiple separately labelled fluorochromes. The AxioVision measurement functions provide all the tools for counting cells and quantifying staining intensity, percent positive and other parameters. |
