Linkam Stage Control

The application module provides control of the Linkam Stage Controller and support for a single stage Heating/Cooling Stage and the Vacuum option if present. Temperature and vacuum data are logged with each acquired image and stored as tags within the ZVI file format and can then be added as annotations to the image. Experiments can be configured for single and multi-stage profiles to suit the user requirements using the full flexibility of the stage controller.

Single stage heating profiles can be configured using the embedded LinkSys32 control panel. Multistage experiments can be defined by checking 'Enable Multistage Profile'. The profile control window then allows configuration of up to 99 ramp stages. For ease of use Mulitstage experiments can then be stored and reused allowing rapid set-up and standardised experimental conditions.

Annotations:
Once an image has been captured clicking the annotation button displays the temperature and vacum data (as appropriate). These can then be configured and manipulated as fro standard applications.
