Zeiss Acquires IMAS   

Carl Zeiss UK, a subsidiary of Carl Zeiss, a globally leading international group of companies in the optical and optoelectronic industry, enhances microscope imaging support and application delivery in the UK.

The business, with offices in Bicester, Oxfordshire, is to be fully integrated into Carl Zeiss Ltd. and will continue to provide technical service and application support to the rapidly expanding installed base of Carl Zeiss microscopy systems and digital imaging solutions. With the integration of the experienced Imaging Associates team, Carl Zeiss Ltd. will also gain additional expertise for sales and application support in the areas of industrial & materials science microscopy. The company will also continue the distribution of MetaSystems Cytogenetic imaging systems.
