| Materials Microscopy with the NEW Axio Observer Imaging Associates Ltd is offering the recently introduced Carl Zeiss Axio Observer inverted research microscope, available in three different configurations, for materials microscopy. High performance optics, a clearly structured touch screen display for control over the different degrees of coding and motorization, considerably increases the convenience and reliability of, for example, material and structural analysis, component measurements and routine examinations in metal production and processing. The apo-chromatically corrected illumination beam path leads to substantially improved performance in all contrasting techniques in incident light, ensures brilliant, true-colour detail rendition in brightfield, and offers optimal stray light minimization in darkfield. This allows the detection of even the smallest object structures and defects. With the Axio Observer A1m, Axio Observer D1m and Axio Observer Z1m configurations, the optimal system is available for any requirement – from routine to research versions. In conjunction with AxioVision software and AxioCam microscope cameras applications such as Grains determination, Multiphase analysis, Non Metallic Inclusions and Graphite analysis are possible. |
